New and experienced sailors find joy behind the helm of a Catalina 28. Simple, fast, and built to last, the Catalina 28 is an outstanding platform for day sailing, coastal cruising, and family fun. Still Crazy is Designed by Gerry Douglas and has the distinct Catalina profile with a flat sheer line and moderate bow overhang.  The wide transom is reversed and there is ample freeboard.  The Catalina 28 MK 2 is a big 28-foot boat, with a beam of 10 feet, 2 inches carried well aft,  creating a voluminous hull with plenty of interior space. 

A large cockpit with additional stern pulpit seats ("princess seats") can easily fit 6 or 7 adults. Below decks, the Catalina 28 is simple and practical with two cabins, a folding salon table, galley with stove and oven, sink, ice box, and a marine wet head.

Accommodations

Forward is a private cabin with a V-berth, insert and split mattress for easy access below.  There is a shelf forward and a large over-head hatch.

The salon is spacious and inviting with straight settees port and starboard with shelving behind.  The hull sides are nicely appointed with wood battens.  There is a drop-leaf table to port, which, when deployed also reaches to starboard settee.  Over-head hatches and opening ports provide natural ventilation when desired.

The galley features a gimballed 2 burner propane stove with oven, SS sink with hot/cold pressure water, large ice box (the top doubles as the nav desk), drawers, cabinets, storage cubbies, dry storage bins and trash door.

Aft is a huge athwartships berth and teak storage locker.
